'They just can't beat us this year': Yamal fires at Madrid after third 'Clasico' win

Barcelona have shown no mercy to their bitter rivals Real Madrid after beating them for a third time this season in Saturday night's Copa del Rey final. Jules Kounde struck a 116th-minute extra-time winner for the Catalans to seal their record-extending 32nd Spanish Cup.
Lamine Yamal was bright as usual in Seville, setting up midfielder Pedri for the opener of the clash. Having conquered his second trophy of the term under new coach Hansi Flick, the 2024 Euro champion insisted Barca were capable of winning no matter how many goals they concede.
“Even if we concede one goal, no problem. Even if we concede two goals, it's still no problem," the 17-year-old star said after the 3-2 win. Yamal also aimed a dig at Los Blancos, affirming that the Catalans showed their superiority after their third 'Clasico' triumph of the campaign.
“This year, they simply can’t beat us. We've proven that. I'm really happy. Visca Barca," he added. With one more showdown to go between Barcelona and Real Madrid, a possible title-deciding one, Yamal will be looking to add to the Merengues' woes with a fourth win on May 11.
