"The treble? We have to dream"

Barcelona full-back Alejandro Balde assured, after the 4-0 drubbing against Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals, that if his team maintains this level, they can “do great things” in the decisive stretch of the season. "We are a very young team. We are playing with guys of 17, 18, 19 and 20 years old. The level we are showing is not very common, but we have to keep it up," said the Catalan player in statements to the media after the match.
In this sense, he stressed that Barca are “a good candidate” to win all the titles and insisted that “we must dream” with this objective. "I believe that football is a sport of eleven against eleven and no one is invincible. We have to stay calm, stay focused and, if we maintain this level, I think we can do great things," he said.
Balde admitted that Barcelona played “a very good game” and showed “a spectacular level” on the pitch. “We have to stay calm because there are still 90 minutes left,” he reminded. Asked if his team is a candidate to win the treble, the Barca left-back reiterated that they are “alive” in all competitions. "We are in the race for everything and we have to dream about it. We are a good candidate to win everything and we have to dream," he stressed.
He also expressed his satisfaction with the minutes played by Ansu Fati, who had not played in 21 games, "He is my best friend in the team, I have spent a lot of time with him and he has suffered a lot for a long time," he recalled.
