The three teams who did best in La Liga 2018-19 given their budget

The 2018-19 La Liga season has come to a close with few surprises in the bottom half of the table and with Getafe as the surprise package despite not getting into the Champions League.
Precisely, Getafe are, at the end of the season, those which have performed most above their capability taking into account the club's budget.
At the start of the season, Getafe and Alaves had got the joint sixth lowest budgets in the division. As they finished fifth, Bordalas' men finished ten places above expected if money were the only thing which decided league tables.
The Madrid outfit were those who did the best out of all the teams followed by Alaves who also did better than expected and Real Valladolid who managed to stay up.
Coached by Abelardo, the men from Vitoria ended the season eleventh, four places higher than expected. Valladolid also climbed four places as they had the lowest amount of money in the division (just 24 million) and they finished the league in 16th.
