PSG - Group phase
The French champions will be in the Champions League for yet another season and will once again try and finally win the Champions League. Will they finally get past the last 16.
Juventus - Group phase
Another champion which have assured their place in the next group phase. As well as PSG, Juventus hope to end their Champions League drought which has now lasted various decades.
Barcelona - Group phase
They are not champions, but they could be it soon. Barcelona have assured their presence in the group stage and will continue to be the only team to have always played in Europe.
Atlético de Madrid - Group phase
Like Barcelona, Atletico have already got enough points to end up being in the top four in the league, so they will be in the hat for the group stage draw.
Liverpool - Group stage
Another team which are in the same situation as Barcelona and Atletico. The Reds are fighting for the title with Manchester City and are guaranteed to play in the next season's Champions League group stage.
Manchester City - Group phase
The Sky Blues, just like Liverpool, will be in the draw for the group phase regardless of whether they win the league or not, because they have already got enough points to end up in the top four.
Bayern Munich - Group stage
The same as Spain and England occurs in Germany where Bayern and Dortmund are fighting for the title and they now have enough points to be in the 2019-20 Champions League.
Borussia Dortmund - Group stage
The yellow team will be one of the 32 teams in the group stage after an exceptional campaign in the Bundesliga which the only thing which is missing is the potential icing on the cake in the Bundesliga title. They will fight until the end with Bayern.
Ajax
The Eredivisie do not get an automatic group stage spot so Ajax and PSV do not know in which round they will begin. They could be in the Champions or the non-Champions section depending on who wins the title.
PSV
The men from Eindhoven are in the same situation as Ajax. If they end up second, the position they are currently in, they will be in the non-Champions route. That changes if they come first.
PAOK - Champions route
PAOK won the Greek league are will be in the play-off round of the 2019-20 Champions League. They will play a two-legged tie against another champion to try and get into the group stage.
Olympiakos - Non-Champions route
As PAOK are the Champions, Olympiakos will have to go into the non-champions section.
Dinamo Zagreb - Champions route
Dinamo Zagreb, like PAOK, won their respective league, the Croatian league, and will have to play qualifying rounds as they have less coeficient points than the Greeks.
Young Boys - Play-off
Young Boys won their league easily ahead of Basle and will be in the play-off round to try and get into the group phase.
Maccabi Tel-Aviv - Second round
The Israeli team, champions in their league, are in the second qualifying round of the Champions League due to their low coefficient.
AIK Solna - Second round
The Swedish side, champions in their domestic league, will also join in the second qualifying round.
BATE Borisov - second round
The Belarusian team who are league champions, will have to play various qualifying rounds.
Astana - Second round
The same applies to the champions from Kazakhstan. They have done very well in the past.
Rosenborg - second round
The Norwegians have won the title and will try to recover the great nights of the past.
Slovan Bratislava - Second round
Slovakia have already got a champions and Slovan will fight to be the team they were back at the end of the 80s and the beginning of the 90s. They are not so fearful nowadays, but they will try their best to get to the group stage.
