Internacional, with a goal from Ecuador's Enner Valencia, drew 1-1 at home to America Mineiro, and Coritiba lost 2-1 to Gremio, with Paraguay's Mathias Villasanti scoring one of the goals. Bahia, meanwhile, defeated Fluminense by the narrowest of margins. 

Among the matches that will complete the day's action is the meeting between Sao Paulo and Cruzeiro. Cuiaba-Vasco da Gama and Goias-Bragantino will close the day in the Brazilian Championship.
