The real reason why Di Maria's transfer to PSG still hasn’t been made official

There has been heavy speculation by both British and French papers as to why the Argentinian footballer is yet to be officially confirmed as becoming PSG’s latest summer signing by either club.
It seems that in part, it is down to the Dutch manager Louis van Gaal. From not turning up to Manchester United’s pre season tour around America, to traveling without the clubs permission to Doha, Di Maria has effectively severed any remaining relationship he had with van Gaal.
After Di Maria’s trip to the Arabic country became public, van Gaal turned around to ask for an extra £3million for the transfer.
However the deal is said to be already made and within the next few hours everything will be cleared up and the deal done.
The real reason however could be due to their attempts to negotiate a contract with Barcelona for Pedro. Manchester are reluctant to let go of Di Maria before they can secure the signing of the Spanish winger.
In either instance it proves van Gaals ruthlessness in restructuring his squad to create a title winning team.
