The problem Setien has on his hands: Barca's average age

Apart from setting a record number of passes and a Leo Messi goal, Barcelona'swin over Granada saw a concerning stat for Quique Setien's Barca.
The coach did not want to make mass changes for his first game and so he chose a team which Ernesto Valverde could have easily chosen. Six players over the age of 30 were included in it.
Barcelona will have to freshen up their squad in the coming years as it is gradually aging and the bulk of the players remain the same.
Jordi Alba, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Gerard Pique, Arturo Vidal and Leo Messi were in Setien's first starting XI... and that was without Luis Suarez, who would have almost certainly started had he been fit.
Quique Setien counterracted this by bringing younger players on in the second half.
The entrances of Riqui Puig, Arthur and Carles Perez were reasons for hope at Barca. Also the performances of De Jong, who was suspended for the Granada man.
But Barca will need much more than those in order to replace an aging generation of players. As Setien signed for several seasons, he will be one in charge of sorting out the problem.
