The most effective "Zidane method"

With goals from Toni Kroos, Isco Alarcón and Luka Modric, Real Madrid overcame Valencia in the semi-final of the Spanish Super Cup, a victory that earned them a place in the final, where Atletico Madrid awaits.

Zidane's was a team that offered one of its best versions of the season so far, with a starting eleven full of midfielders who were firm in the last line and forceful in the attacking scheme. 

Despite the fact that both Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale were forced to stay on Spanish soil due to physical problems, adding to Eden Hazard's already well-known injury, Zinedine Zidane was able to solve the puzzle for the big event very well.

In Jeddah, 'Zizou' lined up a team with Isco and Jovic leading the attack, a duo that proved vital to Real Madrid's victory. In the midfield, Kroos, Modric, Casemiro and Valverde delighted the fans at King Abdullah Sports City. 

The French coach opted for a midfield team loaded with midfielders, who showed their more attacking side by putting in a dream performance for the coveted place in the final.
