Real Madrid aren't one of the teams that need to earn the most income in order to sign this season. The end of La Liga has made clear that Los Blancos have many options and a great squad deepness, and there were even men that Zidane hasn't used.
However, no one is souring the arrival of a quality signing to face the 2020-21 season with more guarantees. For now, in any case, Los Blancos have only moved to complete the exit of some players and have already got close to 50 million euros.
The first to permanently leave the Santiago Bernabéu was Achraf. The Moroccan went from promise to star at Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan paid 40 million euros for his signing. It is a sum that could still increase due to some clauses.
Madrid have managed the other 8 million thanks to the permanent exit of two youth team players: Javi Sánchez and Jorge de Frutos. A new formula has been used with these players. 50% of their rights have been sold, therefore Real Madrid will still get a good sum of money if their new teams, Valladolid and Levante, sell them. A total of 8 million more.
Still, they won't be the only ones to leave. Real Madrid are confident of getting around 20 million euros for Óscar Rodríguez, one of the big revelations of La Liga in the last few seasons. And it is also the case with James and Bale, always at the exit door...
At no time will Madrid approach 100 million euros in revenue by losing any of their power in the team. So it's not out of the question that Florentino Perez will gift Zidane another big signing this season...
