The cited French paper says that Leonardo was firm with Neymar Jr after arriving in Paris. The sporting director told off the player for arriving a week later as well as his comments after the famous 6-1 defeat to Barcelona.
'Le Parisien' published that the sporting director threatened Neymar with punishment. He considers turning up for training one week late to be a serious lack of discipline. Leonardo sent him to the gym to continue his recovery before subjecting him to an thorough medical.
Neymar Jr told Leonardo of his desire to leave PSG during his summer holiday, but Leonardo highlighted the difficulty of that because of the lack of financial muscle at Barcelona. He also reminded him that he had three years left on his contract at the Parc des Princes.
The Brazilian extended his break by another week without the club's permission and this Monday he met with Leonardo to give him more information over his desire to leave. However, Neymar Jr has realised that being able to return to Barcelona will not be easy and he has been warned about the dangers of the course of action he has taken.
Apart from that, Joao Paulo Vergueiro, journalist for 'UOL Esporte', reported that the memory card which had the second half of the interview with Neymar had been stolen. It was meant to be broadcast this Monday, but it was stolen out of the boot of the journalist's car while he was at a commercial event on Sunday.
