"The character and personality we showed was amazing"

Marcos Alonso was another of those who spoke after Barcelona's 2-1 win over Osasuna. The Spanish player stressed the importance of the victory and that now it's time to rest and enjoy the three points.

On the position he has been playing since his arrival at Barça, the former Chelsea player said: "I play wherever the coach wants me to and wherever the team needs me to, even if it's not my position, giving my all and doing my best.

"They were three vital points and the way we got them makes it even more valuable," he said on 'Movistar LaLiga' about the value of the win at El Sadar Stadium. 

Marcos Alonso also appreciated how the team played despite being down to ten men for most of the game: "The character and personality we showed was spectacular, may it help us to grow as a team.

He concluded: "There's still a long way to go, but, well, these are three very important points and we're very happy. Now it's time to rest and come back stronger.
