Ten Hag dodges Greenwood questions in Utd press conference

Since Erik ten Hag last sat down for a Manchester United press conference, the club has been under close scrutiny.
The Red Devils announced on Monday that striker Mason Greenwood would be leaving the club, following a seven-month internal investigation after allegations were made and the 21-year-old was charged with several offenses, including sexual assault and coercive and controlling behaviour.
The charges were dropped eventually as there wasn't enough evidence to proceed with the case but now, as the Dutch manager sat down on Friday to speak to the press, he had to begin by dodging several questions about the disgraced striker.
First he was asked about the "process and the outcome" of the club's investigation, to which he replied: "Look, we are not where we want to be with our team. I have a lot of work. I have a lot of focus on my team and so I focus on the players who are available."
He was the questioned over whether he'd expected to have Greenwood available in his squad, and if he'd wanted him to be. Once again, Ten Hag turned his answer to their "performance" saying: "I only have statements about our performance, our squad and where we have to improve because it's clear we have to improve and I have to put every effort into getting the team to perform.”
Finally, he was also asked if he'd spoken to the former player throughout the process, and could only reiterate he focuses on "the current squad and the players who are available".
