Spain have not saved a penalty since Casillas did in 2010

Spain did not mathematically qualify this Sunday for Euro 2020 because Norway, in the dying seconds of the game, levelled from the spot courtesy of King.
That makes it 10 consecutive penalties which Spain have been unable to stop. The last one to be saved was in the 2010 World Cup quarter-final against Paraguay when Casillas denied Cardozo.
Since then, none of the goalkeeper for Spain have been capable of saving a spot kick. The first one scored was when Scotland's Goodwillie beat Victor Valdes.
Panama, Macedonia, Italy, England, Rusia, Portugal twice and Norway also twice have all netted from 12 yards.
Two players have actually scored twice. Cristiano Ronaldo when he converted in the 2018 World Cup while Josh King did it home and away in the ongoing Euro 2020 qualifiers.
So, Spain have to return to the good old days when at least they were preventing some spot kicks from being converted. Nine years have passed since the last time it happened.
