Crystal Palace struggled without Wilfred Zaha and were beaten at home by Southampton.
In each of the last 12 Premier League games which Zaha has missed, Crystal Palace have lost each one, scoring just 4 goals in the process.
Danny Ings gave Southampton the lead with a goal inside the first minute of the second-half at Selhurst Park and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg added a second late on for Southampton as they looked strong going forward on the counter-attack.

It was an important result for Southampton manager Mark Hughes, who won his first ever Premier League away game at Crystal Palace. It has took the Welshman seven attempts for him to secure three points at Selhurst Park (P7 W1 D2 L4).
Hughes told the 'BBC' after the game that he was happy with his team's performance.
"We were excellent today, certainly in the first half.
"After the defeat to Everton, I've seen a real purpose to everything we've done and I've been pleased with the reaction of the players," he said.
