Leicester and Southampton are not going through their best spells in the Premier League. The Foxes and The Saints are in the lower half of the table, in 17th and 16th positions respectively.
According to 'Football Insider', Zakaria Aboukhlal is reportedly one of the players that Leicester and Southampton are batting around in order to reinforce their squads in January. The Toulouse player has so far got three goals and four assists in 12 games.
Brendan Rogers' side have improved since the break. They were last in the table but after drawing against Crystal Palace and beating Leeds and Wolves, they managed to get out of the relegation zone.
However, Southampton are going through a similarly positive spell. After losing 4-0 to Man City, The Saints have won five points out of a possible nine and they have also managed to get free of the danger zone.
In any event, both teams will need to look for players to strengthen their squads to avoid the danger of relegation to the Championship. It seems that mentality and performances have improved in recent weeks, but the Premier League has always been famous for being a long, hard slog.
