Smith Rowe, 18, scored the second goal for the 'Gunners' in a convincing 3-0 win over Azerbaijani side Qarabag in the Europa League.
Speaking to Arsenal's official website, the youngster claimed it was a "dream come true" and a moment that he will never forget.
"It feels good to have got my first goal today, and the three points as well. It’s just a dream come true really!
"I feel at home in this team. I train with them every day and everyone’s so welcoming. I’m just happy to be here.
The midfielder has earned plaudits in his performances, and Martin Keown also praised the player on 'BT Sport'.
"He’s got plenty of pace, he doesn’t wait for the ball. He goes to the ball. For the football club, it gives a warm glow for all the coaches as he makes his way through the club and turns out for the senior team."
