Simeone wants Soyuncu now

Caglar Soyuncu is the main target for Atletico Madrid in defense. In fact, there is supposedly already a verbal agreement between the player and and the club for him to go there next season, as he is out of contract in June.

However, Atletico Madrid do not want to wait that long, and they realise that this season is important, especially considering the problems they have had in the first half of the season.

Therefore, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid are going to sit down and negotiate with Leicester in order to try and get the Turkish centre-back in this January.

This is the type of transfer which Atletico are used to. In January 2022, Reinildo arrived at the Metropolitano, from Lille, despite his contract running out six months later.
