Carlos Soler made his debut with the first team of Valencia when he was 20 years old and at 24 he has become an important part of the Valencian team.
He has started the season on the right foot as he has already scored four goals and two assists in six games, five of them as a starter. This weekend, the midfielder will face Atlético, who wanted to have him in their team.
As the newspaper 'AS' has told us, Carlos Soler was a target for Atletico Madrid when they were negotiating his renewal and Diego Pablo Simeone asked the club to initiate contact because he saw that the footballer could fit in very well with their team.
Andrea Berta, the sports director, also supported and looked favourably on this possible move, but the footballer had and still has the intention of making a career and succeeding in Valencia, so the interest did not go any further.
Carlos Soler, signed until 2023, seems firmly settled at Valencia, unless the club needs to sell star players once again.
