'SER': Mbappe has told his teammates that he's staying at PSG

With barely two weeks remaining of this summer's transfer window, Madrid see Mbappe as a lost cause. Those in the Spanish capital did have it mind to make a push for the striker, but everything points towards the 22-year-old staying on at PSG.
'El Larguero' reported late Tuesday night that the player has communicated to his closest circle in the dressing room that he will see out his contract at the Parc des Princes.
But that's not all. Toño Garcia, the man responsible for providing the information, highlighted that the club's sporting director, Leonardo, also let part of the squad know that Mbappe will continue to wear the blue of PSG, with Messi and Neymar either side of him in a star-studded attack.
The news certainly comes as a shock for Real Madrid, who continue to dream about having the Frenchman in their ranks. Save for a dramatic twist to the tale, 'Los Blancos' will simply have to wait one more season to bring in the young star.
That being said, the good news for those at the Santiago Bernabeu is that he would arrive on a free, as his contract in Paris terminates in June 2022. In fact, the aforementioned source assured that the player's priority is to eventually end up in the Spanish capital. His future looks to be at Madrid, but it will now probably have to wait one more year.
