Sane's lip after Mane punch

Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim drew 1-1 in the latest Bundesliga matchday. It was a game in which all eyes were on Leroy Sane, who wasvstarting.

The winger could be seen with a swollen lip because of the supposed punch that teammate Sadio Mane gave him after the Champions League game against Man City.

It all came about due to a fight which was caused by something which happened on the pitch, and it ended up being finished in the dressing room, bringing serious consequences for Sane. Bayern ended up suspending the Senegalese man for the incident and therefore the forward didn't play against Hoffenheim.

In theory, it's now a closed case after Mane apologised to his teammate and the rest of the squad. What's more, Sane even stood up for him and stopped the club from letting him go, which they considered.

At Bayern, everyone wanted to start a fresh and for it to not happen again. These images of Sane with his injured lip are something, as everyone at Bayern hopes, something for the history book.
