Salzburg respond to Man Utd with price of 65 million for Sesko

Amid the uncertainty over Cristiano Ronaldo, Man Utd are looking for a striker to cover themselves against a possible departure. Lots can still happen this summer and they want to bolster their attack.
The 'Daily Mail' reports Sesko is now on Ten Hag's list of favourites. So much so that Man Utd have now moved to try and complete his signing.
This source says that, in recent days, Man Utd spoke to Sesko's agent to ask about his situation and see whether he would be willing to move to Manchester. Salzburg, his club, have very different plans for him.
The Slovenian is one of the Austrian club's key players. He has got a contract at Salzburg until 2026 and the Austrian outfit are thinking of keeping him unless a big offer comes along. The 'Daily Mail' reports that the club would be willing to let Sesko leave for 65 million.
Man Utd are not the only ones who are following the attacker closely. Newcastle are also interested in him. In Austria, they have made their opinion clear: whoever wants him will have to get their chequebook out.
