The fluidity in the Liverpool forward line is a joy to watch at times, as Southampton found out to their detriment on Sunday.

With Liverpool already holding a 1-0 lead after Roberto Firmino's early goal, Mohamed Salah struck just before the break to put the visitors two goals to the good.

The Egyptian exchanged passes with Firmino on the edge of the box, with the Brazilian's return pass being a lovely back-heel flick, before sweeping past the onrushing Alex McCarthy to put daylight between the sides.

It was a fine piece of play from one of the division's most exciting teams.
