Rodrigo a step a way from Manchester City

Rodrigo Hernandez's name is one of the most talked about in the market. The Atletico Madrid midfielder is in the sights of several big names, but City seem to be the most interested.

This Thursday, 'COPE' assured that the footballer had already communicated to Atletico that the Manchunian club would pay the 70 million of his clause, getting closer to Citizens' side. However, this information was denied by Atlético de Madrid a few minutes later. 

Now it is 'AS'that has reported that Rodrigo already has a formal offer from Manchester City. The midfielder is still not 100% sure, but he would be very close to accepting Guardiola's team's proposal. 

It must be remembered that the red-and-white team made it clear that they would not negotiate for their player, so City knows that to get their services will have to pay the 70 million of the termination clause of his contract. 

Everything could be closed in a very short time, because if Rodrigo signs and accepts the conditions that the English team has transferred, City will pay the corresponding clause and the transfer will become official.
