At least that is what 'Doble Amarilla' are reporting. Falcao went downhill after he left Atletico Madrid, but after returning to Monaco in 2016, the Colombian picked up again.
So much so that there has even been talk with a return to Atletico, but now it seems like he will make a return to River Plate in Argentina.
According to 'Doble Amarilla', the River vice-president, Jorge Brito, met in Monaco with the striker to find out if the rumour if him being interested in a move back to the 'Millionario' is true.
River are hoping Falcao is aware that his contract will struggle to be matched by his ex-team, but despite everything, the excitement of a possible return is huge in Argentina.
River Plate are hoping to get money by selling several players in the coming weeks in order to pay for Falcao's transfer.
