Real Sociedad are interested in Diasi. He is a 22-year-old defender that plays in Ligue 1 for Reims and is under contract until 2021. The reason is that Llorente is getting closer and closer to Monaco. Monaco are considering offering 40 million euros for him.
Hence the Spaniards have had to set their eye on the market. Llorente's replacement, the Frenchman, would cost just under 3 million, but, due to the fact that he only has this and another season left on his contract, the board are confident that he will leave for cheaper. This is according to 'RMC'.
The deal could be very well addressed if Llorente changes team. The income that he would leave in the club's coffers- he is 26 and under contract until 2022- would be enough to persuade the French side in order to get their CB.
But are they comparable? The numbers give a resounding yes. The Spaniard has played 20 matches this season, starting all of them. The Frenchman has played 32 times, also starting all of them. The difference is that Llorente has a lot more experience.
