Real Madrid wants to lower Hazard's price

The positions between Chelsea and Real Madrid as far as Hazard is concerned is still hot and cold. The reason? The clubs have not settled the Belgian's price. 

Chelsea don't want to give Hazard away. They are asking for 120 million euros. They are aware of the interest that the player awakens in Real Madrid, so the Blues are hoping the Spaniards will agree to their set price. 

Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues working to close his signing. According to 'AS', the club is looking to get a reduction in the final price of the footballer.

So far, Madrid has not passed the 100 million euros mark. The Spaniards wants to spped up the negotiations as much as possible, as the club wants to present the Belgian to the public as soon as possible. 

Madrid would have set a deadline to close the signing of Hazard: they want to have everything ready before Wednesday. After that date, the Belgian has no more commitments with the Belgian national team.

Real Madrid are clinging to Hazard's end of contract date with Chelsea: he has just one year left linked to the 'Blues', which means they have their last chance to cash in on his sale.

AS' claims that the plan is to convince Chelsea to make a price reduction. If they don't succeed, new negotiations would ensue, which could even include the trading of players. 

At the Bernabeu, the board is at full capacity in the preparation of the squad for the 2019-20 season. Hazard, Mendy and Jovic would be the three names that are in a privileged position in the Madrid agenda.
