TEAM NEWS:
Real Madrid: Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale are likely to return for 'Los Blancos', having started on the bench during the club's 1-2 home defeat to Levante at the weekend.
Keylor Navas is also set to start in goal ahead of Thibaut Courtois, as Lopetegui favours his former number one in the Champions League.
FC Viktoria Plzeň:
Jan Kopic will miss the clash (ankle injury), however Radim Reznik and Lukas Hejda are set to return for the Czech side. The duo featured in Plzeň's 2-2 draw with Bohemians 1905 in the league and make our predicted lineup.
WHO IS SAYING WHAT?
Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui:
"The European Cup is a competition linked to the club's long history and in which we have a lot of expectation. We have a lot of ambition, drive and enthusiasm and the opponents will force us to put in great performance to win the three points.
"Viktoria are a physical team, with quality players and tactically very organised. They don't concede many goals and in the match against CSKA they had a phenomenal first half. We have to think about giving a great show from our team.
We’re really looking forward to tomorrow's match. We want to play big games in the Champions League."
FC Viktoria Plzeň striker Patrik Hrošovský:
"We're departing in a good mood and I hope to come back with the same atmosphere. It's surely a great match for us, our expectations are big and we'll see how it goes. Any slip-up they had now means nothing.
"It was very similar with Barcelona we played before, both teams are extremely strong at combination. We have to defend well and give them no time for final passes they are experts at.
I suppose some speculations let them calm, they are totally easy about it and they will want to shoot and enjoy the game."
