According to 'Mundo Deportivo', PSG presented a formal offer for Keylor Navas for 15 million euros which was rejected by Real Madrid because they insist on letting their number two keeper go for less than 20 million.
Real Madrid are apparently very annoyed with the Costa Rican who refused to leave at the sart of the summer and now, once they have sent Andriy Lunin out on loan and with just one week left until the transfer window closes, he has asked to depart.
As a result, Real Madrid will not help him leave as they would have done in June and they will not let him go for any less than 20 million euros.
Nevertheless, if PSG have proposed 15 million euros, everything seems to think that five million is not an insurmountable barrier. Real are looking at Maarten Stekelenburg as a substitute for the Costa Rican.
The 36 year-old Dutch goalkeeper is the number two keeper at Everton and he seems to meet the requirement of finding an experienced keeper to be number two between Thibaut Courtois this season.
