Real Madrid said in an official statement through their website that Monday 11th May is the date set for the first team to resume training at the Ciudad Deportiva de Valdebebas.
After the tests that the players were subjected to on Wednesday, with the COIVD-19 test included, the first phase begins. Although it didn't specify anything in the statement, all indications are that the club did not register any positives, hence the green light to return to work.
"Real Madrid thus complies with the health protocols set by the government to be able to return to competition with all the health guarantees", the text can be read.
The work will now be carried out as ordered by the Supreme Sports Council: there will not be able to be groups of more than 6 players working on the same pitch.
The big focus on the return to work will be Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio, two serious injuries before the break caused by the coronavirus, and who are now expected to be back for the resumption of the competition in June.
