Real Madrid think Mbappe and Haaland can play together

Real Madrid have Kylian Mbappe as their main target for this summer and Erling Haaland as a second target who is more and more likely to join them after Barcelona pulled out of the race for the Norwegian. But are the two players compatible? Many believe that they would be better in different teams, but Real Madrid think differently.
'El Espanol' reports that the Real Madrid bigwigs believe they are compatible. They understand that they could get the best out of both of them even if they shared a dressing room. You have to bear in mind that that will lead to tactical adjustments by Carlo Ancelotti. He could decide to put the Frenchman on the touchline and Haaland up front with Karim Benzema. Vinicius could play on the other flank.
The psychological aspect is also important and Real Madrid do not think there will be a clash of egos in the squad. They point to what happened in 2009 when stars like Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema were together and they played really well together. They also became very good friends off the pitch.
The signing of Mbappe, even though it has not been formally announced yet, seems the more likely. Haaland's move is subject to negotiations with his agent, Mino Raiola, or whoever takes his place given his poor health. In any case, Man City are fierce competitors with Madrid for Haaland while Barcelona seem to have pulled out of the race.
