A list of 24 players was revealed by the French manager ahead of the Real Madrid's first Club World Cup fixture on Wednesday, with Gareth Bale featuring despite struggling with injury in recent weeks.
Last week, Zidane confirmed the Welshman would travel with the rest of the team, though he may not feature if he is not deemed fit.
"He hasn't trained with us yet, so we'll need to wait and see. He's training on his own and as soon as he's back we'll see what he's capable of," Zidane said. "But he'll definitely come to Abu Dhabi."
Raphael Varane is also included in the 24-man list, after picking up a knock in Real's midweek Champions League clash with Dortmund. The French defender will be available at the Club World Cup, which started last Wednesday with host club Al Jazira's 1-0 win over New Zealanders Aukland City.
"Rapha's injury is not serious. He won't be with us tomorrow but he underwent an MRI scan and nothing big came up," the Real boss said. "He will come with us to the tournament and we'll see if he can play in the next match."
