Real Madrid get back Asensio after testing negative for COVID-19

The outbreak which Real Madrid suffered is close to becoming history. The latest in testing negative for COVID-19 was Marco Asensio, so the only one left in isolation is Isco Alarcon. He will come out once he returns a negative test.

It was Asensio himself who confirmed that the tests done had revealed he had got over the virus. The player revealed that he received the news last Sunday and he encouraged his followers to keep on protecting themselves from the virus.

Asensio will now be eligible for Real Madrid's next game against Getafe on 2nd January. The last time he played was in the derby against Atletico Madrid which saw him score a goal.

Bale, Lunin, Rodrygo, Asensio, Modric, Marcelo... all of them were affected by COVID-19 in recent weeks, but they have gradually recovered. Isco is the only player Real Madrid now have missing due to COVID-19.
