Raul de Tomas will return to Madrid but with no clear future

Raul de Tomas has managed 38 goals in 65 matches this season at Rayo Vallecano. All while rumours have circulated concerning a possible return to Real Madrid's first team, his debut in the top category, a possible call up to the Spanish National Team and the heartaches of dropping to the Second Division.
At the age of 24, and after two years on loan to Rayo, De Tomás returns to Real Madrid, with whom he has a contract until 2023, without knowing what will become of his future. His dream, as he told EFE on 13th February 2019, is to "triumph" with the Los Blancos.
In Valladolid he has grown as a player and his value has also increased considerably thanks to his performance. The 14 goals he has scored this season, during his debut in LaLiga, have allowed him to finish the course as the third highest Spanish scorer behind Iago Aspas (20) and Borja Iglesias (17).
For Real Madrid, the only player to have improved his records is Karim Benzema (30), as Bale has also scored 14, but has played in five competitions. Asensio (6), Mariano (4) or Vinicius (3) are all lagging behind.
With Rayo Vallecano, Raúl de Tomás has played 33 matches, all but one as a starter, and with 2,818 has been the second highest player in the squad with the most minutes accumulated. Only Alex Moreno is ahead of him with 3,137.
