Real Madrid started well against Inter. After Benzema's goal in the 25th minute, Ramos joined the party and got Madrid's second.
In the 33rd minute, Ramos, who was unmarked, sent the ball into the back of the net. He headed home a Kroos corner to beat Handanovic.
Inter Milan did not take long to respond though. Just a minute later, Lautaro Martinez, who had not done much until then, pulled one back for the Italians.
Barella spectacularly backheeled to Martinez in the box who volleyed home. Conte's men showed they have not given up hope of getting something from the match.
