Rakitic accepts Juve offer according to 'La Gazzetta'

Although Ivan Rakitic has clearly stated that he wants to stay at Barca, every week there is talk of big clubs interested in his services. Inter have asked about him, but Juve are apparently in more advanced talks over his transfer. That is at least what the Italian paper 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' says. The media outlet points out that Juve have been in contact with the Croatian midfielder and that he has said yes to joining the Italian outfit. Rakitic attracts a lot of interest in Europe.
If Barcelona decide to sell him, Juventus would be in pole position to sign Ivan Rakitic, a player considered vital by Ernesto Valverde, but the board do not share his viewpoint. Josep Maria Bartomeu, the Barcelona president, reminded recently that they have to stick to financial fair play rules. The Catalan side are seriously considering whether they should renew Rakitic's contract or not.
Rakitic is 31 and has a contract with the club until 2021. Barcelona would not be against getting a large amount of money for the Croatian if a good offer came along. Having already signed Frenkie de Jong and various footballers on their agenda, Barcelona need money in the near and not to distant future.
Juve are apparently first in the race for Rakitic according to 'La Gazzetta's information.
