A new chapter has been written on Javier Tebas' feud against PSG. LaLiga's boss has recently accused the Qatari-owned club of cheating on financial matters.
His words were unexpected, as LaLiga's president was in a promotional event announcing a new sponsor. His words were not surprising, the space for him to express them yes.
When questioned about Spanish clubs' financial stability, Tebas seemed optimistic: "I already said before, Spanish football is not in bankrupt. Not Madrid or Barcelona. There is at least 80% of European clubs that are in a much worse situation", he claimed.
"About Real Madrid, I truly believe they have been the best-managed team in terms of the pandemic and salary expenses. Real have the means to do whatever they want right now", he added.
It was then when he remembered the French side. "Real Madrid will never be like PSG because PSG cheats. Their salaries expenses are around 600 million euros, which is impossible to sustain", he stated.
