PSG asked for 400 million for Mbappe in summer

Kylian Mbappe decided to renew this summer at PSG until 2025. He ended up turning down a Real Madrid side who thought they had persuaded him to move to the Santiago Bernabeu. 

But, as soon as he signed that new contract, Mbappe doubted whether he made the best decision for his career. Now, according to the latest reports, he wants to leave the Parc des Princes in January. 

In France, there are no clauses. That means any player who wants to leave is reliant on the buying club negotiating with the selling club. 

Mbappe does not have a buyout clause and so he could have left last summer. PSG put a price tag of 400 million euros on him, according to 'Foot Mercato'. 

In addition, Real Madrid were not allowed to bid, according to 'Marca'. PSG made sure that he would not go to Real Madrid. 

Liverpool tried to sign him, but Mbappe was not convinced. He told the French board that and so they ignored Liverpool's offer. 

Mbappe is deeply disappointed both with Al-Khelaifi and Antero Henrique. Both spoke to him and persuaded him to renew, but a few months later, it seems like he regrets that decision. 

'The Sun' said that five teams are interested in signing Mbappe right now. As well as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd are reportedly interested in the player.
