Barcelona are still waiting for their first bit of extra financing from selling part of their TV rights. Once it is confirmed, Barcelona will start to make a move in the transfer window.
One of the footballers who they are trying to get for the defensive line is Koulibaly. The Senegalese, who plays for Napoli, spoke to 'BBC Sporrt' and showed his loyalty to the Italian side, which he joined in 2014.
"I have a very special relationshp with people from Napoli. I was treated brilliantly, both me and and my family and friends. Many people congratulated me when we won the African Cup of Nations," the player began.
On the other hand, the defender spoke about his team for the future and his comments cooled down talk of him joining Barcelona: "We'll lose some players, there'll be changes next season, but I know that Napoli will do everything possible to be in the fight for the title."
Lastly, Koulibaly analysed last season: "I can't be completely happy because we want to fight for the league, we wanted to be in the fight and we didn't manage to get the points at the back end of the season," he concluded.
