Spurs face Watford in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, and will have to play the match at Stadium MK - the home ground of MK Dons - due to the ongoing issue of their new stadium being incomplete.
The Argentine technician says he is accepting no excuses from his team.
"If you are a winner, you have a different mentality. If you are a loser, you always find excuses and try to avoid the responsibility. I don't want that. I don't want to find any excuses.
"We cannot change the circumstances. Last season was tough and now I think it is tougher because of the circumstances. The expectation was to play in our new stadium.
"For the fans and everyone, it is so disappointing and so frustrating for many people. It is so important from inside to stay strong, believe, try to be positive.
"These are circumstances no one wanted. We need to keep pushing. It is easy to blame all this but I do not want to blame.
"One thing I don't want and didn't want is to give reasons to the players, to us, to say, 'OK if we don't win, it's because we are in Milton Keynes, if we don't win, it's because we don't play at our stadium, it's because we played at Wembley'. I am not like this.
"If we lose, it is because we deserved to lose because we did not play good or because I made a mistake as it is our responsibility."
