At the age of 27, David Raya is in his prime at Brentford, with experience in the Spanish national team and the dream of returning to his country to succeed in a big team.
He made this clear in an interview with 'AS'. Raya has assured that playing inLa Liga "is a door that we will see if it opens at the right time and with the right destination".
"I won't say no, because I'd like to, but at the moment I'm doing very well here," said Raya, who is in his fourth season at Brentford after leaving Blackburn Rovers.
"Every player has goals and wants to improve. Now I'm focused on my team and in the summer we'll see what happens," said the goalkeeper, who has a current contract until June 2024.
"If they want to do business they will have to do it, but there is a long season left and I am only focused on doing well. In the summer we will assess my situation," concluded David Raya.
