Since the confirmation of Leo Messi's departure, Barcelona fans are at odds with some of their players. At the Gamper it was made clear as Umtiti and Pjanic were whistled and booed by Barcelona fans.
An ugly gesture, which confirmed that, irregardless of what has been explained, many in Barcelona believe that several players are to blame for the Argentinian international not staying at the Catalan outfit.
Miralem Pjanic arrived in a deal done by Bartomeu's board a year ago which saw Pjanic come in place of Arthur. He has been one of those most criticised. The Bosnian did not triumph and hardly played under Ronald Koeman and Laporta tried to free up his salary however possible. Up to now, they have yet to have success.
According to 'Sport', there will be a solution over his future soon. Pjanic will accept a 20% reduction and he will return on loan to Juventus. Barcelona will save on his salary because the Italian side will pay for it entirely.
The Catalan media outlet says that Pjanic will return for a year although the loan deal can be extended for a second season based on a series on conditions and his performances.
After playing 43 matches in the 2019-20 season for Juventus, the Bosnian midfielder went to playing just 30 in his only season at Barca. He played just 1205 minutes.
