Phillips targeted by Bayern amid uncertain future at Man City

Kalvin Phillips has not played a prominent role at Manchester City since joining from Leeds United for 42 million pounds in the 2022/23 campaign. As a result, the 27-year-old is likely to leave the Etihad Stadium in the January transfer window.

According to 'The Sun', German giants Bayern Munich are keeping an eye on his situation as they are interested in his services. Thomas Tuchel's side could move for him in the next transfer window.

The English midfielder has hardly had any opportunities under Pep Guardiola, playing just 21 competitive matches without scoring or assisting last season. Phillips is being overshadowed by Rodri Hernandez, who plays a key role in Manchester City's success.

Bayern want to strengthen their midfield and, following the arrival of England star Harry Kane, are willing to present the Sky Blues with an offer for the midfielder.
