All Barcelona fans remember Pedro's time fondly thanks to his contributions to the club. The Spaniard was a key member of the legendary squad that went onto win everything under Pep Guardiola.
A three-time Champions League winner and a part of the squad that won the treble, Pedro now reportedly wants to return to Barcelona, so it has declared it in 'SER Catalunya'.
"It's an option that is always there and I would like for it to work out," acknowledged Pedro, who's role at Chelsea has considerably diminished having only played four games in the Premier League this season.
The Canary Islands native could be facing his former team in the Champions League round of 16, a match that would see him come back to the Camp Nou for a momentous occasion.
"Everyone knows how I feel about the club and it's obvious that it's a possibility to come back. I've always said that. Barça is a club for which I have a special affection because it's the club I follow. I lived many experiences, I was there for many years and I feel very loved by everyone "he said.
But Pedro thinks that it would be a complicated move, and does not know what it would take for the move to take place. "What I don't know is if returning is in the hands of the coach, the president or someone else. For them my return is difficult, but it is clear that it is a possibility," he added.
The debate is open. Does Barça need 'Pedrito'? It would be a special return for the fans of the Camp Nou, but the multitude of players in that position incites to think that this reunion seems complicated.
