Arsenal lost 2-0 against Leicester and continued their bad run of form. The Gunners have only won 1 of their last 7 matches and the main analysts are looking for people to blame.
Although he thinks that Emery can do much more, Tony Adams assured on 'Sky Sports' that the team's bad run is not Emery's fault and defended him.
"The signings have been very poor in recent years. The manager must be pulling his hair out. It's easy to blame Emery, but he's doing everything he can. It's a bigger problem than the manager", he continued.
Tony Adams used Mesut Özil as an example to show how badly things are being done at the London club. "Özil should be the icing on the cake... but Arsenal don't even have a cake," he said.
"There's no consistency in the team. There is little quality and that can be solved by increasing the pressure and trying again and again, but you can't always be giving the ball away. It's worrying, he pushes the team forward and tries to play constantly in the opposition's half. If not, you're inviting them to put pressure on you," said the former player and manager.
