Arsenal's German midfielder, Mesut Ozil, has broken Frank Lampard's previous record of 134 chances created in a single season, during Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
This season Ozil has been Arsenal's key player, and has created a total of 137 chances so far, which has beaten the previous record set by Frank Lampard during the 2008-09 season whilst the Englishman was at Chelsea.
Ozil has also grabbed 18 assists, which is just two less than Thierry Henry's Premier League record of 20.
Annoyingly for the German, he hasn't already shattered this record with the 137 chances he has created, with Arsenal lacking that world-class striker which they so badly need.
