Ostersunds:
For Graham Potter, defensive midfielder Smajl Suljevic (knee), left winger Johan Bertilsson (wound) and right winger Hosam Aiesh (wound) are all unavailable as the English head coach will have to rely on Saman Ghoddos and Brwa Nouri up front.
Arsenal:
Wenger has already said before the game that he won't rest his players given that they won't be playing during the FA Cup weekend. However, he will be without striker Alexandre Lacazette, after the Frenchman underwent surgery on his knee, and new signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as he is ilegible after Borussia Dortmund dropped down to the second European competition.
In addition, Aaron Ramsey is a major doubt as he missed the North London derby with a groin injury and probably won't be risked while Laurent Koscielny and Jack Wilshere have minor Achilles problems.
Ostersunds head coach Graham Potter:
"Arsenal is something special, it's like Christmas for us. Everyone in Sweden has a special relationship with English football because we've had it on TV since the 60s".
"The rest of Sweden thought we were a bit crazy up here because we said we were going to compete in Allsvenskan and play in Europe. Now people in Sweden have taken Ostersund to their hearts".
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger:
The Frenchman has criticised UEFA ahead of the match for their rule which states that Aubameyang is ilegible for the competition: "Unanimously I know all clubs agree now that this rule has to disappear. It doesn't make any sense".
“We have to adapt quickly because we never travel on this type of pitch. The temperature, at the moment I don’t find too much different from London. It shouldn’t be a problem. It would be really disturbing to our organisation in the way we want to prepare [were the team to have flown out earlier]. I think we can adapt. We have an artificial pitch indoors, even if it is a bit different.”
"When I saw [Ostersunds] play, I understood why they did well against [Athletic] Bilbao and [Hertha] Berlin. It wasn't a coincidence".
Possible lineups:
Ostersunds: Keita; Pettersson, Widgren, Bergvist, Mukiipi; Nouri, Hopcutt, Tekie, Sema, Islamovic; Ghoddos.
Arsenal: Ospina; Mertesacker, Monreal, Mustafi, Bellerin; Xhaka, Elneny, Iwobi, Mkhitaryan, Ozil; Welbeck.
