Osorio, from hero to reviled

Velez Sarsfield is at a popular crossroads. Four of their players are sidelined for alleged sexual abuse. And one of them is Abiel Osorio, who has gone from hero to reviled.

The 21-year-old Argentinian striker was the scorer in the 'V''s 1-0 win over Rosario Central. A header with which the Estadio Jose Amalfitani exploded with happiness with the new victory of his team.

However, Velez Sarsfield have removed him from the dynamic as a result of their club's gender-based violence protocol. He is in the same situation as Sebastian Sosa, Braian Cufre and Jose Ignacio Florentin.

None of them are in Gustavo Quinteros' squad for the visit of Banfield in the new round of the Copa de la Liga Profesional Argentina. The first stain difficult to forget in his sporting career.
