The Welsh club are expected to announce the signing of Bogle on Thursday once the final details of his contract have been agreed.
Fellow Championship clubd Ipswich, QPR and Barnsley also expressed interest in signing the 24-year old who scored three times for Wigan last season after joining in January.
The 6ft 3in striker was placed on Wigan's transfer list earlier in the window after manager Paul Cook stated that he didn't fit into his style of play.
Additionally, it is understood that player wanted to return the Championship following Wigan's relegation to League One last season.
Bogle completed the transfer to the DW Stadium from Grimsby for a reported fee of £1.2m after scoring 19 goals for the Mariners in the first half of last season, as well as scoring twice in the National Leauge play-off final victory against Forest Green Rovers in 2016.
