OFFICIAL: Rashford renews til 2028 with Man United

Manchester United can count on one thing for sure as they look to next season with a squad in the middle of a reshape: Marcus Rashford. The Red Devils announced on Tuesday that the academy graduate has signed a contract extension that sees him at Old Trafford until June 2028.
The '10' has made in total 359 appearances for the Manchester outfit and has scored 123 goals since his debut in 2016, 30 of those coming last season to keep United in the running for Champions League places.
“I joined Manchester United as a seven-year-old boy with a dream. That same passion, pride, and determination to succeed still drives me every time I have the honour of wearing the shirt", said Rashford in the club's statement.
“As a United fan all my life, I know the responsibility that comes with representing this badge and feel the highs and lows as much as anyone. I can assure you that I will give everything to help the team reach the level we are capable of, and I can feel the same determination around the dressing room. I couldn’t be more excited for the future under this manager”, he continued.
John Murtough, Manchester United Football Director described him as "a brilliant talent but also humble, dedicated and driven" and believes since he joined United's academy "Marcus has epitomised what it takes to succeed as a Manchester United player".
