OFFICIAL: Dani Alves, new player of Mexican club Pumas

Dani Alves has become a new Pumas UNAM player. After several weeks of negotiation, the Brazilian was finally announced as the Mexican club's newest signing in this transfer window.
Through an official statement on social networks, the university club welcomed the 39-year-old full-back, who did not renew his contract with Barcelona and will have his first experience in Mexican football.
Pumas will be the seventh club in the career of the experienced Dani Alves, who made his debut in 2005-06 at Bahia and since then has had spells with Sevilla, Barcelona, Juventus, PSG, Sao Paulo and, of course, the Brazil national team.
Without going any further, the defender's main objective in this new challenge will be to have as much continuity as possible and to compete at the highest level in order to have a chance of being called up for the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
Dani Alves thus became the sixth signing for Andres Lillini's side in this market, who had previously signed Gustavo Del Prete, Eduardo Salvio, Gil Alcala, Adrian Aldrete and Cesar Huerta.
It is worth noting that the player with the most titles in the history of football will quickly return to the Camp Nou stadium, when Pumas face FC Barcelona in August for the Joan Gamper Trophy.
